The aim of the Charity Group is to select the charities that Luctonians will support each year and to organise fund raising events.

Chosen Charities for 2023/24
Leominster Meeting Centre is about helping people and their families adjust to living with dementia by offering exercise, educational sessions, one-to-one meetings with support workers and advisers, as well as therapeutic activities and having FUN!
Not many people know that Luctonians Sports Club has charitable status. This supports the Club in its provision of community engagement, both sporting and social.
On 30th September 2023 the ‘Lucs in Green’ Charity Match Day took place place

Lucs in Green Day was raising funds for We are Farming Minds and Luctonians.
Every day, farmers are exposed to loneliness, isolation and pressure. Sadly, every week, at least one person will take their own life.
Which is why We Are Farming Minds was created. To raise mental health awareness, support the Herefordshire agricultural community and say to every farmer – you are not alone.

2022/23 Season
Our Chosen Charities for the 2022/23 Season were:
During this season we raised £15,670 for Little Princess Trust and #BeMoreFrank on the ‘Lucs in Purple’ matchday
2021/22 Season
Our Chosen Charities for the 2021/22 Season were:
During this season we raised £14,435.77 for Prostate Cancer UK on the ‘Lucs in Blue’ matchday.
Included in the total amount was money raised from the 3rdXV Jurassic Challenge for St Michael’s Hospice – Hereford, Movember UK and The British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.
2020/21 Season
Covid-19 Pandemic
Due to the pandemic, the entire 2020/21 season was cancelled.
However, we did raise some funds to help support the club through lockdown.
2019/20 Season
Our Chosen Charities for the 2019/20 Season were:
During this season we raised £7,293.00 for Breast Cancer Haven Hereford
on the ‘Lucs in Pink’ matchday.
Clearly this season was drastically shortened by the pandemic, but the total raised was still impressive!
2018/19 Season
Our Chosen Charities for the 2018/19 Season were:
During this season we raised £10,574.76 for Breast Cancer Haven Hereford
on the ‘Lucs in Pink’ matchday.
