The Luctonians 3rd XV currently compete in Counties 2 Midlands West (West), having been entered into the RFU league structure for the first time at the start of the 2022/23 season.

The 3rd XV plays a vital role in the club’s rugby pathway as a development side, giving players their first taste of senior rugby after progressing from Colts. It also offers a competitive and enjoyable environment for the more casual player, and for those who choose to step back from higher-level competition as time, commitments, and priorities evolve.

This balance makes the 3rd XV a unique and valued part of Luctonians rugby: a team where emerging talent can grow, experienced players can continue to contribute, and everyone involved can enjoy the camaraderie and spirit that comes with wearing the black and white stripe.
