£18k FOR CHARITY IN ONE DAY CAN’T BE BAD
On 30th September 2023 the ‘Lucs in Green’ Charity Match took place at Mortimer Park when our 1stXV met Loughborough Students RFC in a National League 2 West game. The £18,000.00 proceeds of the day’s events, which included the auction of the bespoke match shirts, went to We are Farming Minds – Tackling Mental Health in the Herefordshire Farming Community, and Luctonians Sports Club.
It is not well known that Luctonians Sports Club has a charitable status, supporting the club in its provision of community engagement, both sporting and social.
