Festivals Throughout the Year!
At Luctonians we host several Festivals throughout our club calendar. Our Anglo-Welsh Festival is our longest-running Festival, with the first one being held on 30th April 1995. All of the Festivals are made possible because of our club staff and numerous volunteers that work together to make them possible.

Anglo Welsh Mini Festival
12th April 2026
Our Anglo Welsh Mini Festival is the longest-running and biggest festival in the club calendar. This seasons Anglo Welsh Festival will be held on the 12th April 2026. The festival is open to age groups in Under 7 up to Under 12s. Over the course of the day, Mortimer Park welcomes well over 3000 visitors through our gates.
Festival Format:
The format for U7s – U12s will be pitch based pools with all teams playing each other in the pool and with all players winning a medal in these age groups. However, the U12’s will be slightly different in they will have a waterfall tournament, as above they will play every team in their pool, and then will play their counterpart from the other, (i.e. 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, and so on).
Please ensure you have read the English RFU rules for U7s to U12s.

Sundogs Festival
Sports and Music Festival
20th June 2026
Sundogs Festival is a festival for all sports and music lovers!
We invite you to join us at this year’s event.
Whether or not you plan to watch sports, eat and drink until your heart’s content or sing and dance the night away, everyone is welcome.
Here’s what you need to know:

Location – Luctonians Sports Club
Ticket Information:
Under 12s go free
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and be off-site by 9.00pm
Tickets are available on the day from the festival gate – £10.00 for over 18s.
Festival Rules:
1. Alcohol Policy
Alcohol must not be brought onto the festival site. Licensed bars will be available on site.
2. Illegal Substances
Sundogs Festival operates a zero-tolerance policy towards illegal substances. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances will be removed from the site immediately.
3. No Glass Policy
The entire festival site operates as a strict no-glass zone. Glass containers are not permitted.
4. Over 18 Wristbands
Over 18 wristbands will only be issued upon presentation of valid photo identification.
No ID – No Over 18 Wristband.
5. Under 18 Policy
Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over at all times.
6. Under 18 Curfew
All attendees under the age of 18 must leave the festival site by 9:00pm.
7. Wristbands
Festival wristbands must be worn at all times. Anyone not wearing a valid wristband may be removed from the site.
8. Bag Searches
All bags are subject to search upon entry, and any prohibited items will be confiscated.
9. Security Searches
Festival security reserves the right to search any attendee at any time while on the festival site.
10. Fire Safety
BBQs, open fires, and naked flames are strictly prohibited anywhere on the festival site and will be removed.
11. Respect for the Community
Festival attendees are expected to behave responsibly and show respect to local residents, staff, volunteers, and fellow festival goers.
12. Dogs / Pets Policy
The festival site is a strict no-dogs zone, with the exception of registered assistance dogs.
13. Personal Property
The organisers and Luctonians Sports Club accept no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property.
14. Behaviour and Conduct
Anyone found to be abusive, threatening, or aggressive towards staff, volunteers, security, or other attendees will be removed from the site.
15. Right of Admission
Festival management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the festival site at their discretion.
