Festivals Throughout the Year!
At Luctonians we host several Festivals throughout our club calendar. Our Anglo-Welsh Festival is our longest-running Festival, with the first one being held on 30th April 1995. All of the Festivals are made possible because of our club staff and numerous volunteers that work together to make them possible.

Junior Rugby Festival
1st October 2023
Our Junior Rugby Festival is open to under 13s, under 14s, under 15s, and under 16s rugby teams. Teams are invited from all over to partake in our now annual tournament.
Team spaces are sold out for the 2023 festival.

Anglo Welsh Mini Festival
14th April 2024
Our Anglo Welsh Mini Festival is the longest running and biggest festival in the club calendar. Our 29th Anglo Welsh Festival will be held on the 14th April 2024. The festival is open to age groups in Under 6 up to Under 12s. Over the course of the day, Mortimer Park welcomes well over 3000 visitors through our gates.
Festival Format:
The format for U7s – U12s will be pitch based pools with all teams playing each other in the pool and with all players winning a medal in these age groups. However, the U12’s will be slightly different in they will have a waterfall tournament, as above they will play every team in their pool, and then will play their counterpart from the other, (i.e. 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, and so on).
Please ensure you have read the English RFU rules for U7s to U12s.

Girls Rugby Festival
28th April 2024
Open to Under 12s and Under 14s Girls only teams. £50 per team to enter.

Sundogs Festival
Sports and Music Festival
21st–23rd June 2024
Our Sundogs Festival will return on the 21st June 2024. This three-day festival kicks off on Friday afternoon with team games, bar, food stall and a DJ. Camping is available all weekend. On Saturday we welcome all Sports Competitors to Mortimer Park.
We host a Social 7s, Women’s 7s, Competitive 7s and Women’s hockey competition. Live music starts in the afternoon and is played until the evening. Food and Bars are available for supporters and teams to enjoy.
Festival goers can purchase a weekend ticket or ultimate tickets which includes camping.
